Welcome!

As an experienced psychologist and psychoanalyst with a long standing practice in Springfield, New Jersey, I provide psychotherapy and psychoanalysis to adults, children & adolescents and couples.  I also provide case consultation and supervision of psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for mental health professionals.

With knowledge and experience accumulated over almost four decades of practice, I have been able to help people gain greater understanding of themselves and what drives them.  In so doing, they have  been able to use this insight to plan new directions in their lives and move forward toward greater satisfaction with their lives.  My supportive approach to people has always assisted them in  uncovering, confronting and understanding their own inner conflicts and emotional challenges.

I am acutely aware that it takes courage to seek therapy.  I never cease to be deeply moved by my clients' willingness to take me into their privately held places where hidden conflicts, feelings, fears, sadness, pain and anger reside.  Through the work we have done together, they have learned valuable truths about themselves and in so doing have gone on to make important and permanent changes in their lives as a result of the inner strength that develops over time.
